Well I did post that I had my 1 yr check up the other day but today is actually my 1 yr date. I dont have much to share exspect that I am incredibly blessed to be able to have a second chance at being healthy and not overweight. I am by BMI standards still over weight, I am 157 as of today and 5'5'' so I need another 7 lbs for them to be satisfied but you know what, I am satisfied not to be 272, and to have lost 115 so far. I want to thank everyone who has been supportive but first and formost my Lord !!!!!! Best wishes to everyone coming up on their yr, Its something to be so very proud of and lets keep the weight off !!!!!!! I posted a couple days ago about a hernia that my surgeon discovred and I was wondering still if anyone here has had a hernia and tummy tuck done and paid for by their insurance

Kelli! Congrats. I will be a year on the 30th. You are a wonderful person and you are very inspirational. I saw your web site and I am in complete awe. I take care of my 67 year old mom. She lives with me. I am very glad for your weight loss. Happy Re-Birthday! Tracy

Hi Kelli, Today is also my one year anniversary. I am 157 lbs too, and have lost 110. I had hernia and tummy tuck in November, and am recovering nicely. I am having vein ligation nxt week, my varicoise veins have gotten worse. Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions about the hernia and tummy tuck. I had two hernias, the abdominoplasty(muscle repair) and panni (tummy tuck) all done at the same time by the surgeon that did my gastric bypass. Take care! Lark Johnson
