Today is my first ReBirthday!

Wow ... I can't believe that it is a whole year since my Open RNY. About this time last year, I was being wheeled to the recovery room. I started at 331 and am down to 228. While I am 70 lbs from my goal, there are so many positives in my life now. Yes, it is hard not to get depressed as the weightloss grinds to a halt, but then I realize that my back has gone out only twice in the last year and I can actually walk a mile now. My knee still needs to be replaced, but at least I can function on it now. Thank you all for being there. It is a wonderful feeling to know that there is support for both the good and the bad.
