One year ago today...
... I was reborn, thanks to WLS. My life isn't perfect -- and it's taken and will continue to take a lot of work -- but it is SO much better than it was a year ago.
In the last 12 months, I have lost 180 pounds, begun exercising and loving to be active, reclaimed my confidence at work and in my personal life, and fallen in love with a most amazing man. My family and friends have been incredibly supportive, and I was fortunate to have a first-rate medical team that continues to keep me healthy and complication-free. I have been so very, very blessed.
Happy New Year and Happy New You to all my fellow WLS travelers. I hope you can all know this feeling somewhere along the road. 
180 pounds!?!? WOW! That is amazing! I've lost 101 pounds & I've had to work for every pound - I can't imagine losing that much in a year! I know that I am having skin issues - wow - that is just amazing...
I too, have experienced so much in the last year that I wouldn't have had without wls. Good luck on your continued journey!
