Hello y'all

I just wanted to check in with my January peeps and wish you all the very best holiday season. This year is sure different from last year, isn't it? I wonder how many of us really knew that life would be so different from this time last year. Sure, we all told each other it would be, but did we REALLY believe it? I know I didn't. I had terrible buyer's remorse for the first month at least. Now I would do it over again and again and again if I had to, but I don't!! I have lost 140 pounds to date and am about 10 pounds from goal. I am now in size 8 mostly, some 10's. This is down from TIGHT size 28. I have no more health issues at all (but there were relatively mild to begin with, they were just starting to manifest when I had the WLS). From a 48.6 BMI to 25.7. WOW!!!! Life is good, that is all I can say now. Part of the reason it is good is the wonderful support and friendships made from this site. I just can't say how much this has meant to me. Anyway, enough of that mushy stuff. Happy holidays to all of you, however you choose to celebrate it. Jill

Happy Holidays to you too Jill! I have been a slow looser, but still feel great and would do it again in a heartbeat!!! I feel so much better, and I know I'm gonna loose some more I'm just not gonna be the first one to do it! Last Year at this time I had just been approved after fighting and jumping through every hoop they could think of! How much happier and healthier I am, and lovin' life more.
