wls poll
Hi Michelle, I have lost 110 and would like to loose another 6 pounds which would put me at normal on the BMI index charts. If I do not loose it I would still be happy because even at the weight I am now I feel I am so lucky compared to where I was last year at this time. If I could loose another 16 I would be half the person I was than. Deb Ski
Michelle-
I'm 10 months post op (I'll be 11 on the 21st). I have gone from 248 lbs. to 128 lbs. A total of 120 lbs. I really want to loose 4 more pounds, as that would put me @ half my weight. My goal is 120 lbs., so I actually have 8 more to go. I'm struggling right now. I've been @ 128 for three weeks now. I have changed my excerise routine, so hopefully that'll help.
I'm sooooo glad I had the surgery! No regrets. I feel wonderful and love to go shopping! I'm wearing a size 4 and 6's. I can even buy my tights in the girls dept. The only thing I don't like is the excess skin on my upper arms, tummy, and thighs! I'd love to have my arms done and a tummy tuck.
Good luck to all of you on your continued WLS journey!

248/128/120 some day maybe!
Hi there, Michelle -
I had surgery on 1/12/2004 and I've lost 154 pounds. I have nine more to go to get to goal; however, if my body can handle it, I'd like to lose up to 20 more. I'm not holding my breath, though - if I don't lose another ounce, I'm still so darn happy about where I'm at!

I started at 304 and now am 168, so that is 136 pounds. I want to get to 155 lbs, so my BMI will be in the normal range. I have 13 more to go to get there. My one year anniversary will be January 28, 2005 so I am pretty sure it is a doable feat!
But, if I lose 18 more instead of 13, then I will weigh less than one half of what I did to start. That would be cool!
