Hi, two weeks since hernia repair

Hi, it was two weeks ago today I had my incisional hernia repaired. Beware of pain pills, they can cause you to become impacted. That was one of the most painful experiences of my life. But I am back at work and feeling pretty good. I lost ten more pounds since the hernia repair. Now I weigh 154!! I started at 270. My size 12's are a little large, I've started buying size 10! I hope everyone else is doing well.

Hi Susan, Glad you are feeling well and back to almost normal after only 2 weeks. I had my hernia repair and abdominoplasty on Oct. 27th. Today the stitches come out. I am still pretty sore and can't wait to be back to work. This was the last leg of my journey and I can't wait for it to be back to normal. At 52 I am beginning to feel like a new woman. Debbie

Hi Susan My name is Paulette and I had surgery on Jan 14, 2004. I began at 254 and am know 142. I have 2 hernia so I will be having surgery in Jan also they will be removing the loose skin on my stomach. Who did your surgery and can you tell me what to expect. thanks Paulette
