I had my surgery in January and weaight 340 before surgery. I am now hovering around the 215-220 pound mark. I have not lost much (if any) weight in the last 2 months. I am not complaining because I feel great, but my goal was 200 lbs. Is this it? Or, is this just a nasty plateau. How do I break it. Help please.

I am 6'2". I am in the home stretch. I want to get down to 200 lbs. I guess what they say is true. The last 20 is the hardest to lose.. 79 is nothing to sneeze at. Congrats on the "big loss" Men lose it faster than women anyway...at least that's what I'm told .

Well Joel , You are doing very well then, you must look awesome!, I would be happy being your height, with that weight. Too thin would make you look awfully thin. Too thin is not very attractive! Good Job Joel Jeannie

I have found the hunger is back and I have to watch myself from snacking (especially at work) I am staying away from sugars, and high fat foods. Lots of cheese, peanuts, fruit, yogert and protien bars. I do occasionally eat Wendy's chicken select strips. Love Chili too.

Joel, You are doing extremely well, just stay away from the devil (sugar) & you will be fine. I try to do everything sugar free, even yogurt ice cream will come in sugar free. Yummy that does sound good, damn I'm gonna have to drive to town & get me a scoup. see what you started Joel. LOL Jeannie

Joel, I had my surgery on 1/12/04 and weighed in at 341.4 lbs. These past two months I have hardly lost a thing. I went down to 199lbs last week and ate myself to 205 and now weigh in at 200.5 again. I am freaking out because I have been finding myself reverting back to bad behaviors again. That is why I needed to come to this site tonight. Keep posting and reaching out for support and know that you are not alone. Patty 341/200.5/165
