How am I doing with progress? Want to get pregnant....

My life is very confusing right now. I just moved out of state, currently looking for a job but desperately wanting to have child #2. I am 35 1/2 years old and had difficulty conceiving my three year old (took 1 1/2 yrs!) Since the surgery I have been getting my period regularly and know that my chances of acheiving pregnancy at my current weight of 202 is better than it was at 341. My physican in NY told me that I should wait minimally 11 months... that is almost two months away. I am so confused, because of my age I will try to get pregnant the end of this year but I am also looking for employment now to help catch up on bills/holiday time and do not intend to work full time after having this child. Please help my confusion.... I am almost down 140 lbs since surgery on the 12th. Lately, I have not lost anything because I have been eating badly, stopped excercising one month ago. Wow, I can see stress is definately an issue for you right now. Take care of yourself and settle down, then consider the other things. Also I suggest you get a local doctor that can walk you thru getting pregnant after WLS. Wishing you the best. Dawn -100
