Thank you to everyone for responding. I feel better about where I am at. I want to try the plateau diet and see if that might work. I appreciate all the feedback and understanding. Tracy Lap RNY 1/30/04 Dr. Potts 240/162/?

I can not speak for you but I can tell you that I went through the same thing your body is tired sort shocky from the weight loss your spirit is tired of obsessing about what to eat when to eat how to eat did I get enough water today did I get enough protein today did I exercise enough today. It is hard for us *****ally never took care of ourselves before to be so self intrested. Our brains fight to get back to the old self that ignored and mistreated us for so long. I found that I had to go back to the begining start over just as though I had surgery yesterday recommit myself to my new life and try to capture that first few weeks of happiness after surgery recommit your spirit to healing yourself. Try to avoid all negative things that are connected to your inner spirit and keep going. I still have moments where the old self wants to pig out to be irresponsible and do all the wrong things but I have to let the new me do whats right. It is a battle but you can do it Jan 19 2004 421/229 -180 70 pounds to go.
