I need a hug, I am on one of those dam stand stills!!!!!!
I have been at 180 for almost a mnth now and I am
AGGRIVATED
WORRIED
SCARED
DEPRESSED
I was wondering since we all had surgery around the same time, am I alone here or is anyone else doing this!!!!!!!!!
All I can think of is that I know my MD said it would start to slow down but I tell you I hope my body is not adjusting to this and wants to stand still forever.
I would like to be a normal healthy weight for my height 130-150
I was pushing for 130 but at this rate I cant see 150!@!!!!!
HELP AM I ALONE?
You are not alone, here is a big hug and a good "it will get better" squeeze...I myself have been at a slow down for about a month, but I am still seeing a big difference in the way things fit, the sizes I wear, and so forth...your body is trying to let the rest of you catch up with the decrease in your weight...think happy thoughts...shop from the back of your closet, a friends closet, get a feel for the different things that you can wear now, that you couldn't a few months ago...remember, they said that it could take up to two years for the complete weight loss, we all just kinda get spoilded when we see the scale go down so rapidly at first...Smile, you will get through this...you have so much more to look forward to.

Ditto for me Kelli!
I try (yeah right!) not to weigh all the time. It will be easier not to now that I travel all the time. I also require that I stay in efficiency type hotels or extended stay hotels so that I don't get back into the habit of eating out and at fast food places.
I'm sending you (and everyone else in this spot) big hugs, special friend handshakes, and head nods of knowing and understanding.
Blessings to all!

I'm sending you a big bear hug! Keep your chin up and a smile on your face! The weight will continue to come off, just slower, trust me I know! I have only lost 6.5 lbs this month! And I'm frustrated as heck. I am however one of the fortunate ones, as I've lost something every week, maybe only a pound, but I have lost. I only have 19.5 more pounds to get to my goal and I know that it'll take forever! We just have to keep reminding ourselves of how much healthier and happier we are because of the pounds that have melted away thus far.
I try to think of all my new clothes that are size 8's and some 6's and that puts a smile on my face!
Best of luck to you during your WLS journey.
