Hey gang! We have not had a roll call in quite some time - so add to it! Name, family status, pounds lost, total inches lost, clothing size sarted vs. now & most important thing you can do now (or don't have to do) since surgery & weight loss. I'll start! Congrats all & thanks for each of us supporting one another! Barbie My name is Barbie. I am 30 years old, single, living in Gainesville, FL. I just started a new traveling Human Resources job - so I actually won't be living there much! I have lost 86 pounds, and the last time I took measurements (two noths ago), I had lost 52 inches! I started as a tight size 26 and can wear a 16 now. I am most thankful to be able to exercise without dying - whether it is for fun, working out, or plain shopping! I feel like I can do it all! I thank each of you for your support, love & sharing this journey with me! Cheers! Barbie

Hi, my name is Harriet. I am 50 years young..LOL and live in Las Vegas. I have been married to the most wonderful man for 29 years. We have 3 daughters (oldest is 28, married and lives in Seattle with my 2 terrific grandchildren, middle is 22 and lives at home, youngest is 21 and lives at home while she goes to college). I worked as a contract analyst for years, but when they moved the plant, I took a severance package and now I am a homemaker. I have lost a total of 120 pounds and have only 24 pounds to go til I hit my goal!!!..not sure how many inches since I didnt measure prior to surgery. I was wearing a 30/32 and am now wearing 14-16 pants..I even have a pair of jeans that are 12s that I can wear. Most of all now I can walk everywhere and never be winded or hurting. I walked Disneyland for over 12 hours everyday for 5 days and never felt tired. AND I could fit on all the rides!! I havent had this much energy for over 25 years! Now I can shop til I drop and I have yet to DROP!! This is a great site for support. I moved right after my surgery so I never attended local support groups..I got all my support from this site and my family. This site is a godsend!! Thanks so much to all ofyou for sharing. Hugs, Harriet 304/184/160ish

Hi! My name is Kimberley. I'm 44 yrs. old, single w/a 14 year old daughter. I work at St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY (Northern NY, 2 1/2 hrs north of Syracuse). My surgery was Jan. 21 and I have lost a total of 102 lbs! Only 21 pounds to goal! I was wearing size 22/24 and now am in a size 8 and yes some 6's! WOW!! I'm not sure how many inches I've lost. But, I can take my size 22 jeans and put my whole body in one leg! Amazing, isn't it? I love shopping for new clothes and have found the local thrift shop to be a godsend! I am off my liptor and am no longer a diebetic! I have so much more energy than before & rarely sit still! I'm much more active. I walk at least 3 miles four times a week. I'll be heading to the gym more often once the academic year starts! I am just soooo much happier and healthier! My weigh in is tomorrow and hopefully I'll be down another couple of pounds. I love this board and the people who post on it that have given me words of wisdom, kindness, and encourgement! Thank you all! I love going out in public and having people look at me and their complements (both from strangers and friends). I have so much more self confidence and self esteem! I thank my doctor, Micheal Hill from Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake, NY. He has given me tool which has helped me achieve a happier, healthier, and youthful life. The support group up there is fabulous! God bless you all! And best of luck on your WLS Journey! Kimberley 248/236/146/125 Some day I hope!

My name is Lida. I am 40 years old, live in Maryland with my golden retriever, Mazlon, and my two Siamese cats Leprechaun and Dusty. I started out at 331 lbs and have lost 86 lbs so far. I figure that I have about another 80 to go ... but it's a start. I started at a size 34 and can now wear a size 20 The biggest benefit is that I can now walk with a minimal amount of pain (the knee still needs to be replaced) vs the 5 minutes of walking I was able to do prior to the surgery. Hi, my name is Mellisia and I am 31 years old. I am married with 3 children (Girl 7, Boy 3 and Girl 1). I have lost a total of 117 pounds so far. I would like to lose another 55 pounds. I started in a size 30/32 and I am now wearing loose 20's. I have never measured my inches, but I regret it now. It seems that when I'm not losing pounds my clothes are still getting loose on me, so I know I'm losing inches. My life is so much better since surgery! We went on a family vacation last week and I outwalked everyone in my family for the first time. It felt great! I am so thankful that I was able to do this for myself! Mellisia 342/225/170 Lap RNY
