Several times this last couple of weeks, I have had customers come in and go up to one of my associates and ask if I am working today. HEHEHE And when they say yes, she's over at her desk...they get that dumb founded look on there face and say "no way". I love it! And I really love it when they tell me I look so much younger! But isn't that the truth! Weight truly ages us all! Anyway, I seen my brother a couple of weeks ago...He hadn't seen me since before my surgery. Boy was he shocked! All he could say is....Gosh--you're not my fat little baby sister anymore. You've lost so much weight! I got a call yesterday from my best friend and she is getting married in 10 weeks. And guess who is supposed to be in the wedding?! Yep! I have 10 weeks to tone up a bit more. I am so excited! Every other time I've been asked to be in a wedding, I dreaded it! And this time it will be different. She is so excited not only about getting married, but that I have lost so much weight and will be confidently standing there next to her. That will be a great day! Just wanted to share! Charlotte 269/179/137

I abosutely love it when I am not recongized. I was at our th of July church pinic and seen some people from another church whom i had not seen since before my surgury. They came over and asked my Pastor if I was a new Linda. Of course he said yes. I became the new Linda8 months ago. When the weight started coming off. It feels great when people now look and say Linda.......wow.......you lost weight. The funniest thing though was being at a car wash and a biker wanted his bike washed. I am the hoser. So being the 31 year old teenager it felt kinda good when this guy said "is there and adult around?" The look on his face when the boys told him I was it was enough to send me off in a fit of giggles. Congradulations on not being recongized. Doesn't it make you feel great. Keep up the good work. linda

My own doctor -- my primary care doc, not my GB surgeon -- didn't recognize me when I went in to see him last week. I had to sit and stifle giggles the entire time because I could see he didn't know WHO I was, and finally when he figured it out, he looked at my chart, then looked at me, then looked at my chart and started flipping through it with his eyes bugged out. "How much weight have you lost?!" he asked, totally shocked. Go figure... I wanted to be weighed going in, but they didn't weigh me! So all I could do was shrug! But, yeppers, it's a pretty sweet feeling. Cheers, Kathie
