Just found this board

Hi all I never knew that there was a board just for people that share the same surgery month as you. That is awesome. I have been a member of OH since last October, and have loved everysingel minute of it. I am an active member of my local state message board, but would also like to get invovled in this on too. Here is the short scoop on me. I am 26 and had Micropouch RNY 01/19/04 in Detroit, MI with the CORI Centers. At which time I weighted in at 295, today 6 months later I am down to 194 and only have 70 more pounds to reach goal. I am so thankful for my new lease on life, and everything that getting this wonderful tool has done for me mentally, emotionally, and physically. What a great blessing it has been to get this tool, and a new lease on life. I have tons of pics on my profile if you wanna check it out, most of them are from many WLS get togethers adn people from the Michigan board.

Hi Sandy Its a pleasure and I look forward to seeing you post more I had open surgery in Jan 26 and I am down 95 lbs, Still have about 50 more to go, hope I get there but I feel great!!!!!!

Welcome sandy, I have not been here long myself, I had my RYN on 1/30/04 andhave lost 103 to date. I look foward to seeing you on the board

Hi Sandy, Welcome!! I think this board is one of the most supportive I have found since everyone on this board is at approx the same place in our journeys. Makes it a bit easier to relate sometimes. I had my surgery on 1/12/04. Started out at 304 and am now at 188. Feeling better and having all this energy is the best feeling in the world!! NOT shopping in the Womens dept anymore is a side benefit. I am glad you found this board too!! Kudos on your journey so far and I wish you continued success! Dont be a stranger.
