Eating too much?
I have never been a fast loser, but I have only lost 4 pounds in the last month and find myself getting frustrated. My surgeon's office says I should be eating between 600-800 calories at this stage. I've been averaging around 700 calories recently.
I'd like to compare what I eat to others if you guys are willing. Some days I eat more than others but I will list yesterday which was a high calorie day for me.
B- 1/2 cup grits, 1 egg, 1 slice cheese, 2 slices bacon
L- 3 oz pork chop, 1 cup salad, FF Italian dressing
D- 3.5 oz steak, 1/2 cup string beans
S- 2 SF Popcicles
80 oz water
20 minutes cross country machine
25 mintures treadmill

Hi Pat,
Your doing much better than me eating and excercising!
A couple of days ago I couldn't seem to get enough food, yes binging...The next day I hardly ate anything, and guess what, I weighed myself the next day and I had lost 2 lbs. confusing you bet!
So sometimes I think it's like gaining weight, diet and you'll gain, I beginning to think there is no rhymm or reason to it. All I know is when I shake things up I loose when I don't I plateau or gain.
Confused Meee Tooo!

I am just like Catherine@@@@@@@@
I tell you my period is coming so I have been so so hungry!!!!! Now when I do this, like catherine I seem to lose more as well.
I know this is nuts but the more I consume the more I lose at the end of the week.
I am also noticing I can eat meals now. I could not get down a meal for the longest time , now I am eating chicken, salad and some rice and its fulling and not getting stuck.
hm well for me i sorta kinda just eat a banana or two a day, maybe some string cheese, or some cottage cheese or yogurt later on, and thats a good day!!!i do try and keep my water intake high, but i just dont seem to want to eat even at 7 months out so perhaps this really isnt helping at all but i suppose it can go both ways, hang in there hon your doing great!!
Kelli -
I'm with you - I have been eating real meals, just in smaller portions. For instance, if I am at my family's house for dinner (every 2 weeks or so), I will eat 3 oz steak, 2 or 3 oz broccoli, bite or two of potatoe and some salad.
If I stop for breakfast at McDy's (rarely) I will order a ham, egg and cheese bagel minus the sauce. I eat (over an hour or so) all the ham, egg and cheese and one side of the bagel. Maybe not even that much of the bagel. But then I am full till well after lunch and may not eat until 2 or 3. It all depends. Some days I will eat really good, some days I will just eat good snacks through out the day, and some days (like today) I am happy with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on 3 seed wheat bread and a glass of milk with 85 oz of other liquids and some watermelon at night.
I just feel like my body will tell me what it needs. It mostly wants fruit, veggies and meat.
