Stuck
I am stuck. I am stuck at 205. I can not make the scale move. I have been stuck there for like a month now. I have picked up on the protein drinks again and make sure I always eat my protein first. I have trouble with the water but am going to MAKE myself start drinking more water every day. Anyone got any suggestions to help me!
THank you all,
Cindy
Hi, I new, my name is Lorie. I had my surgery Janurary 29th if this year. I am doing the same thing. For about 3 weeks now I lost nothing. I have a friend who had her surgery 1 year ago Jan. and she said sometimes your body is trying to ajust to the weight. She said I will have several "stuck" modes. I know thats not much consulation, but at least know it's not anything you are doing wrong. I do my protein drink and also drink crystal light because water is blah! It will happen Cindy. My friend is 136 now and doing great. We are going to be right behind her
Praying for all of us
Lorie

You're doing great! We all go through those "stuck" times. My surgeon says to make sure I keep my calories close to 1000 (no less) and drink water. (I drink tons of crystal lite). Also, I am starting to exercise a lot more. He said that will all help! I thought I was consuming a lot more calories than I actually have been. SO I write my foods down so that I can make sure I'm getting enough.

Someone on another board had been on a plateau for several months. She started the Stillman diet and has been losing a pound a day for over a week now. She was telling another person on a three week plateau about her succes and that lady has lost 3 pounds in 3 days on it.
Having said that, the Stillman diet is even more restrictive than Dr. Atkins. Basically the only things you can eat are meat, eggs, sf Jello from what I read. It says not to cook in oil, eat mayonaise, etc. Obviously this is a diet you could do for a week or two but not long term. It might help you to break the plateau though, seems to have worked for both of these ladies.
If you are interested go to the "Over50" board and read the post for yesterday. It gives a link to the Stillman diet, but I am sure you can get the same information by typing "Stillman Diet" in the search engine.
Best of luck to you
