Best decision ever made... HONESTLY

Hello everyone, I just wanted to write and let everyone know that this decision to have the surgery was the best I have ever made in my life. My surgery was 1-27-04 and so far I have lost 91lbs. I did have some minor issues along the way, you know the wound infection, the wound vac, thrush. But as of today I am doing GREAT... I love Dr. Benitez and his staff, they are all wonderful people and know how to treat their patients. I will try to post again soon. Everyone take care and enjoy your new life......

Michelle, I feel the same way. I would not change one thing since my surgery. I would like to start really lossing again but mine has come to a stop. But I am told that happens from time to time. I am starting the Protein drinks again and that seems to help with the energy issue and the weight loss issue. I am so glad you are down 91 lbs I am down 70 lbs. Can't budg that number but am working at it I am only 30 lbs from goal. Good luck and hope to see you post again. Cindy

Congrats to ya, I had a physicians Assistant ask me yesterday at my 6 mo. checkup if I had any regrets and if I would do it again. I said in a heartbeat, no regrets at all, ok maybe that they had to remove the headhunger. But other than that not one thing. I feel so healthy, and one lady today said I hold my head up high and glow. I'm not sure about the glowing part I think that is inner happiness shinning through!
