Hey everyone, I never posted here because i didnt think anyone posted out of the main message board, and here it is ya'll postin away. Well I had my surgery months ago and as of today have lost 103 pounds to my suprise. I recently started going to the gym and have been taking spinning classes that i enjoy emensily (sp). I still have 67 pounds to go but i cant wait to see a size 12-14 that would be awesome. THe only thing is my stomach just doesnt want to go down, i mean it has ALOT but thats where all my weight that is left is at.. So i started doing a 120 crunches every other day, but i work out everyday. TOnning and cardio, and cardio and cruches... I hope this helps and works because im tired of this belly already..... sorry to blab hope to talk to you soon Betty

Hi Betty, Congrats on the weight loss... that's awesome! Way to go!!! We share the same date I had my 6 month check-up yesterday and I am down 91 lbs... I need to step up the exercise... work seems to get in the way lately! But i like your idea about the crunches... i might give that a try! I also need to ride my stationery bike when I don't go to the gym.... Good luck and post again say soon... we are definitely on our way! V.

I know what you mean about the belly. That is where I still have to lose the most too. It has lost a lot, but I can finally fit into my size 12 jeans in the waist-but now the legs are too big. But I wear them anyway. I think I may try those crunches too. My mom always says the tummy is the hardest to lose. Boy is she right about that! I have lost 102 lbs. One pound behind ya girl! Good for us! Keep up the good work! Desirae 272/170/130ish

Congratulations on the great weight loss. I met someone in a support group while researching wls. She had lost 100 lbs but her tummy was huge (like mine). She went on to lose another 65 lbs and I swear every pound must have gone from her tummy. She has a flat tummy today. Every time I get discouraged because I am not losing much in my tummy I think about her and know it will happen if I'm patient. It seems those of us that have problem areas always gain there first and lose in that area last. Best of luck for continued success on your wls journey.
