Please pass on some tips on ignoring head hunger.... I know I'm not really hungry, but on the other hand I want the taste of everything! I'm so afraid of failing. I've lost 60 pounds and I'm thrilled about that, but I don't want to stop there!

Ya head hunger it the pits. But you will make it thru. I usually turn to something sweet like s/f pops, or crunchy like nuts. Best of luck. Dawn

I found the head hunger creeping up on me and my carbs climbing above 30 grams a day. I made the decision if I wanted to eat other than meal times I'd allow myself to eat protein, but no carbs. Guess what, when given the choice of protein only I'm not that hungry. I get enough protein at meal times. That's my way of finding out if I'm really hungry. Water loading is good too. When you think you are hungry fill your pouch with water. Best of luck for your continued success.

Judith.. sometimes it is the way of things to want those things we can not have. I like the suggestion of eating only protein between meals.. but sometimes that just won't do will i****er filling is also good.. if those don't work.. then find something you really really want .. determine what is a good portion.. then cut it in half.. and have it. Sometimes it just takes a taste to make the cravings go away. I keep a bag of Hershey dark chocolate kisses.. and when I have a craving .. I eat ONE.. that is all I need.. just ONE.. and I feel like I've had something I really wanted. Try one or two spoonfuls of whatever it is that you just can't live without. It works for me. If you find you can't stop at that.. then you need to go back to protein and water.. and then try a spoonful.. It is amazing how good you will feel about yourself. Just keep experimenting with things till you find what is right for you. It'll all work out if you keep trying. Jan 287/185/150
