Yes. I take biotin. I get it at Henry's market here in San Diego. You can get it at any health food store. I take two small pills a day. It has significantly reduced my hair loss. I am still loosing hair, just not as bad. The legnth of my hair is past my shoulders, so I freaked when I started loosing it. Now I am ok. As of today I am officially at 5 months out. Hope this helps. Tracy

I take biotin every day. It does seem to help with the hair loss. It comes in a fairly small tablet. I get mine at Wal-Mart, its about $6 for 30 tablets. I dont know if it does anything else. When I talk to people about the surgery I recomend they start taking the Biotin as soon as they are on solids.
