Is it normal to be very tired? I am 6 months post op and i am very very tired. At times i have lots of energy but lately I am finding it hard to get up in the morning and i am tired all day. Is this normal? Should i be concerned?

2 concerns...anemia or pregnancy. B12 injections/sublinguals might help too. see your doctor and make sure you are getting enough protien and calories in.

I agree with Carrie, CHeck with your Dr. And make sure you are getting enoug vitamins and Protien. ALso BElieve it or not Exercise will increase your aenergy level. I get really tired and sleep harder then I ever have. But when I am up and moving around I feel great.

I suggest you talk with your MD and get labs drawn. This can either be your surgeon or your primary care Doc. You may be low in your electrolytes, protein, anemic, etc. Are you getting at least 60 gm of protein in a day? 64 oz of water? What prescriptions are you on? Do you take any BP meds, they may need to be adjusted. Get a physical and your labs done, then you and your Doc can be in a better position to judge what you need, be it change in meds, B12, or whatever. Good luck! Sarah
