Just a couple questions

I had a couple things I wanted to ask. Okay first is that I am 25. I have one child and right now I really am happy with just one. Has anyone heard of or know anyone that has had children after the surgery? Not really a huge issue right now because my surgeon said i should wait 2 years anyway. My next question is does anyone notice that they are getting more attention from the opposite sex. I have had guys i have known forever tell me how hot I was. Of course I thought this was awesome. And I notice more men looking at me. Not to point and pick on the "fat" girl, but really checking me out. I feel shallow loving the attention, but I do love it!!!!! Men I would've given my right arm to notice me are noticing me. I guess I just wanted to know if anyone else was noticing the same thing? Stacy (1/21/04, 225/152/120ish I hope)

I know three people in my support groups who came up pregnant within months of having the surgery. Two had been trying for years, thought they were infertile, then had a miracle baby after surgery. One went on a new birth control method, got pregnant then found out that type of birth control is not good for anyone over 200 lbs. All three had healthy babies but there were problems in the pregnancy due to lack of nutrition. One was on bed rest for five months, the other two were on bed rest for a month or two before the baby came. I suppose the lesson here is be very careful if you aren't ready for a new baby because losing weight makes some women more fertile. The longer out from surgery the better. You will be able to eat more at 18 months than you can at six months for example.

Yeah, I've noticed the man thing too. I barely give them a glance.LOL..I just think yeah, eat your hearts out, my man has loved me big and now he loves me smaller. It's nice to turn the pages, and you control the glaces a cheap thrill but along time coming for me. LOL...LOL...LOL!!

Notice the attention - YES and sucking it up I have always been the fat girl of the bunch. Now this is my time to shine Even my husband and kids are starting to show me of. Gotta love that meltin feeling. Also I believe the better we feel the better we will do using this tool to change our lifestyle. Best of wishes. Dawn -78

I have notice it too. It was weird having them stare at me. Not that I'm looking... I'm married with 2 kids. It feels good for the ego though....LOL About the prego question. I have a friend who has a healthy baby girl after surgery... she had her when she was not even 1 and half out. She is doing well and only gained about 15 lbs during her preg... lucky her.
