Count Cal/fat/carb??
Do you cound calories, fat, carbs along with your protien and water?
I have started.... again seeing I have only lost 4 pounds this past month
I have no problem reaching 55-70g protein without really planning.
On one of my high days I did reach 1214 calories and 85g fat. (I had sausage - its really really bad)
No I am wondering if with snacking on nuts and sunflower seeds if I am keeping my fats up tooo high.
What do you think?

I work on total number grams of protein ... My total intake per day is 79 grams...I sometimes struggle with it...especially when I don't use a protein drink or bar.... I watch to be sure I don't go over 8 grams of fat per meal and only 2 grams of sugar. I don't count calories or carbs.... but I try to watch to make sure I'm not overdoing carbs.
The only thing that I am conscious of counting is my protein and water. Everything else just goes with it. I do try to limit the "bad carbs". I track on Fitday so my calories typically show anywhere from 800-1000 calories a day. My nutritionist told me to make sure I get all my protein in first and then if I had room to eat good carbs. Fats she limited me to 30 grams a day, approximately 10 grams per meal...MAX.
I'm a slow loser, but it is steady. Good luck!

I log my food on Fitday. Last month I was unhappy with my weight loss so I summarized the period from 4/9 to 5/8 and faxed my surgeon's nutritionist a note asking what I was doing wrong.
Average Day
Calories 611 (mostly meat)
Fat 30 grams
Carbs 32 grams
Protein 53 grams
She called and told me to cut my carbs below 20 which is Dr. Atkins induction (first 2 weeks). I was not eating the bad carbs (rice, potato, flour), but she didn't ask me that question just said to cut the carbs. People on the boards said I wasn't eating enough but she said my calorie intake was fine. Of course you might ask another nutritionist and get a different answer.
I had my insides cut out so I could stay on Dr. Atkins? I had lost 58 lbs in 4 1/2 months pre-op on Dr. Atkins. I thought it was suppose to be easier after surgery but it seems for me it's just more of the same. Overall I am down 133 lbs and feeling great so if it takes more of the same I can do it. I've been given my life back and I am thankful.
Best of luck to you on your continued wls journey.
