I would really work on the water intake. It can make a difference. the length of plateaus vary greatly.

Hey Albert, Both the protein and water intake is a struggle for me as well. I dont know what it is but I have never liked water much...But I put in a ton of crushed ice in a BIG glass and that helps. I also drink ALOT of crystal light. The Sunrise flavor reminds me so much of "Tang" and I like many of the other flavors also. Its so low in calories and really tastes wonderful and refreshing after struggling with water, lol... Have you had bloodwork checked lately? My B12 was WAY low, so I am getting B12 shots once a month and it helps energy wise and I notice the scales seems so move after I get it. Whether coincidence or not, I feel happy seeing it go down Good luck to you Albert, and hang in there. This last plateau I had lasted 6 weeks. Argh!

You are doing great! I am stuck to............ It is coming off slow! Up your protein and your water............ You should be doing over 500 cals a day or you body will go in stravation mode!

I have had a couple of plateau's. They have lasted up until a month. I just increase my excerise and protein. It is funny how you can not lose anything for a week, then loose 10 pounds in a weekend. I also found wieghing just once a week helps, keeps you from getting depressed. Jeremy

HI Alberto, . First, my name is JoAnn. I too had the surgery on January 19th. In my beginning months it was hard on me as my system was not allowing me to keep down the foods I was eating. So you know where I was most of the time. It was a bummer at first. But I am now 5 months and around 3 1/2 to 4 months after the surgery my system starting digesting the food. Except I still have some problems with noodles, rice and sometimes potatos, Pork chops no mattewr how thin I get them they will noyt digest for me. Other than that I am able to eat most foods now. I weighed 419 before I decided to have the surgery. I lost 21 1/2 pounds 2 weeks before the surgery. I now weigh 303. I total that at 116 pounds. I was at a 3 week stand still not losing weight and I was told that is normal. I am happy with waht I have lost and I no longer have to take my diabetes or B/P meds. I am only taking Celexa for depression and talwin every now and then for my knee pain. I do take a Multiviatmin with iron,. 1500 MG of calcium, B-Complex every day and 1000 Mg B-12 shot once a month. I am so happy to be off my meds. I have 175 pounds to go to get down to be 130 Pounds. But I will see what I look like at 150 pounds. I think I will have to go down to 130 pounds as I am small bone and I am only 5 foot. I wish you much sucess as you comtinue to lose the weight and I also would love to be your new friend and get emails from you. My email addresss is [email protected] I look forward to hearing from you.Take care and God Bless you. Sincerly, JoAnn
