Ok, am I the only one still loosing hair??

I have been losing hair for the past month. I think I even have a little sun burn on my scalp...LOL

I started losing.. about 3 weeks ago. I got my hair cut shorter..seems less to notice But it is for sure getting sparse up top. Here is my addition to the thoughts.. my head hurts to brush my little bit of hair. I thought by brushing it .. that would manipulate the hair folicles... you know the ole thing your mama taught you about brushing your hair 100 times... but I can't.. my head hurts... Any body else?
