Ok, am I the only one still loosing hair??
Alright, I love the weightloss but the hairloss I don't, it seems to be falling out more and more. Not bald yet, but I don't want to look like Mrs. Clean either. I'm eating lots of protein, just to think 5 mo. ago I would have given up my hair to loose weight!
I would just like it to stop anytime soon...or at least slow down. I think I'm loosing a hair with every pound!
Am I the only one???
I started loosing hair about a month ago and I haven't slowed down yet. I'm acting like it doesn't bother me, but it's creepy to clean so much hair from the brush or shower drain. My question is will it grow again? When? WLS does weird things to your body. Wouldn't take it back for a million, but we need to admit that it's a strange experience.

Don't feel like you are alone. In reading, it appears we will lose hair between months 4 and 8. If I keep losing I'll be bald headed. My hair was fine and a bit thin before surgery so I don't have a lot to lose without it being VERY obvious. My surgeon told me he has never had a patient go bald. Mine was falling out in hand fulls for a while but it has slowed down a lot so I am hoping the worst is over.
There is always a wig and I'm willing to do that if it gets bad enough. They say it will come back so we just have to have faith.
Best of luck to everybody.
I'm freaking out too. I have thick hair, but for the last 2 weeks I have been cleaning hair out of my sink and brush that could literally have made another wig! I am worried as I notice that most of it is from the top of my head. Around my forehead. My hubby mentioned he could tell I was loosing it. It seems I have a receding hairline! I AM FREAKING!!! What do we do??? I have always had more than my 60 oz of protein per day, so I really don't feel upping the protein is going to help. There has been alot of info on the main board about flax seeds. I might try this. It is really scarey to think you might go bald.

I've lost about half of mine! My once long hair has now been cut off short so that I don't have to bru**** so much to get the tangles out of it. So what's the next resort? Rogaine?
My Vit B-12 level got really low so I think that made my hair loss even worse????
I am going to try not to color my hair at all for a while either until the hair loss improves dramatically. And I am one for coloring my hair every couple of months so this is going to be tough for me!
Guess this is the price we pay to be thin!

I have alot of thinning on the top of my scalp. when I am in the sun it burns me so I have to wear a bandanna. I also have very long hair sop I am not sure what is normal when it comes to brushing it. I see at least 2 brushfuls when I am done brushing it when its wet, but when its dry its fine so I am not sure, I would say minimal hair loss and thinning. I wonder what its from
?
Yup, iv got the loss still going on here also and I already have really thin hair... I'm going crazy here trying to figure out what Is the best thing to try and bring back new hair since there is no since in trying to stop what's going to leave anyway.
My youngest son is getting married in August, and I don't want to attend bald, although I will if I have to.
My hair stylist suggest some shampoo from the salon, and I'm using it faithfully every morning, and my mother suggested some vitamins which she swears by...So currently, I'm just hoping I get something to grow back soon.
