As I type this I know that its silly but you are all in the same boat as far as surgery dates and I guess I need some reassurance. I was 272 going into surgery in Jan of 04 and I have lost 72 lbs so far. I am now stuck at 200 and my biggest fear is that its all over@@@@@@ I know that I do this alot. I have weeks where I stay the same then I will have a loss of 4+ or so. I am happy but I cant shake the fear that its over now and I will be 200 forever@@@@ I could not walk this week because of the rain and I tell ya I eat well. I dont do sugar etc or shakes, yes I get my protein from meats and other sources but I always wonder if I am eating to much because I get hungry and I can eat. I am sorry to ramble but I dont think the honey moon is over do you?

Sorry ladies, wish I could say I feel bad for you...but I don't!!! LOL! I had my surgery the same day as yours and I have only lost 50 lbs. You are 22 lbs ahead of me!!! I'd love to have another 22 lbs off my body. You've had a tremendous loss and your body is now taking a time out. Believe me it will kick in again. Congratulations on what you have accomplished so far! Good luck and hang in there...I know, sometimes it's really hard to. Kim R/az

Thank you Ladies, I guess I cannot shake this feeling of I wont see past 200 and I know that may sound crazy but I am literally scared to death. Its not a good goal weight and I know for a fact I eat more. maybe not as much but I get hungry often and I try to eat good things. I just needed to see what everyone else was feeling. I know alot of times we are scared that we will be the only people who this does not work for.

Kelli, I know exactly how you feel. I felt the same way a few days ago. I am now down 87 ( well, 86.5) lbs... I'm at 200.5 lbs.. darn.. I want to see the 100s too. I was on a plateau for about a month.. then it started going down again. I get scared all the time.. and then I think about how I eat almost all the time.. and I do.. or it feels that way. But like Dawn said.. we are all in the same boat. It feels good to have this board to go to. I stay a lot on the Texas board .. but when I feel really down.. I come here and find you guys who are all suffering just like me.. and it really is amazing to see that we are going through a lot of the same things. So.. don't feel alone.. we are not stopping here.. just slowing down to smell the roses.. I'm actually enjoying getting into the 16 jeans.. I'd never wear them before.. (jeans I mean) I was always afraid that people would be looking at how far the pockets on my butt were apart. I guess that sounds funny now.. but that is what I thought.. So, you told us when it stopped.. now don't forget to tell us when it starts back again Jan

I have to agree here...what a great place to be able to share with others who are at the same place in our journey. I have been stuck at 214 and now 210 for like 2.5 weeks. It is really starting to get old. I guess I got used to the weight coming off faster and the plateaus make me impatient. Since I had been doing so well when I saw him at the end of April, my doc said I should be at goal of 160 at the end of July and now I am freaking out that I wont be. I plan on celebrating somehow when i finally hit that 199 mark (below 200)..but these last 11 pounds are being obstinate. I know this too shall pass...but daggone it I sure wi**** would hurry up... Hugs to all, Harriet 304/210/160

congrat's on the weight loss. Your ahead of me, I only lost 57 lbs. Any way I was told to increase your water intake are you drinking more than 64 oz, plus cut back on alittle bit on food. No I dont think the honey moon is over. I think it will be over once we get closer to our one year mark, Hang in there.... we will all hit the platues. Hope this helps. Linda 238/181/ goal 120 hopefully soon

I know what you mean. I think we will all feel this way one time or another. We have all been on dozens of other programs and have failed. As long as you are drinking your water, getting in your protein and making good food choice, know that the weight will continue to come off! It'll also help once you can get back out and exercise! Sorry you are so worried! HUGS! Erika
