I have lost 69 pounds since Jan 14 wowza!

Started at 245 now weigh 176,I am 5 foot 8,frm a size 24 to a 12/14.Praise the Lord!woohoo!Anyone considering this surgery should know it does make you feel wonderful to be healthier and more attractive looking as well.Will post a pic soon!

WOW GLORIA! That is great!!! You lucky loser, you! hehe!! I had my surgery a week before you and have lost 46.5 lbs and I started out weighing MORE than you.. what's up with that?? You are dropping weight fast...I had my surgery one day before you and I've only lost 44 pounds. What are you doing? LOL!!! Eventhough I haven't lost 69 pounds...I am very happy with the 44 that I've lost. Jaye

I guess a big difference is that I dont take steroids or arthritis meds anymore or muscle relaxers ,I also walk 3 miles 4-6 times a week,maybe more some weeks.I would like to be able to do crunches and work on a flat tummy but it still sore for that after three months!I eat seafood,soup,cheese,salad,skim milk,eggs,lean cuisuine,lean pockets,ff popcorn,and do not eat white bread,pasta,regular chips,soda,cakes,cookies,ice cream etc.I take 2 iron pills a day,1 b12,ulcer meds,2 vitamins.I also drink alot of low carb apple juice and diet soda.I can barely tolerate plain water or propel,but do like some of the flavored waters.I walk every morning when I take son to school,I walk in afternoons sometimes,I try and park far away in parking lots so I can walk,go to flea markets and walk,I try to walk much as possible.I really dont do well with traditional workouts I am uncoordinated but walking works for me,helps me focus,clear my mind,steers away from depression and I listen to headphones helps me keep track, my cd is one hour,I also use pedometer for distance.I think about joining a gym,but realize that I am getting enough exercise in and I live on a duckpond with a walk path so I have it made,with no excuses!I think I eat about 700-800 calories a day.My thing I am upset about is I dont look more petite I FEEL LIKE THE HULK.Just like to be thin and about a size 7/8,but I am starting to look bulky already!Like come on I dont eat much anymore I work so hard why cant I just be thin?And if I see another tiny little woman pigging out I am going to scream its not fair!lol!
