Sometimes I just don't know what to eat? Can you please tell me what you ate today. It would help me to make good choices. I'm down 43 lbs in a little over 9 weeks. It seems to me that there's not alot I can eat w/out it being high in carbs.. thanks

Tuesday was not so good a day for me. I didn't eat anything in the morning. I had two slices of turkey & 1/2 a slice of cheese for lunch. I ended up getting sick at work after lunch. For dinner I had a handful of pretzels w/no sugar peanutbutter. Not a good day of eating at all.

Had 8 oz low carb milk with 1 egg and a little sweet-n-low for breakfast - 7 am. 10 am 1/2 of low fat yogurt. 1 pm 2 oz chicken. 3 pm 1/2 lowfat yogurt, 5 pm 1 ritz cracker with a little peanut butter. For dinner I'll have some corned beef and cabbage at our church. My appetite is returning and I am afraid of it. But I will be brave and find a way to limit my eating to a maximum of 6 times a day. Before surgery I ate all day and all night. I have heard of people who have had this surgery who are grazers, they eat every couple of hours everyday. The result is they only lost 1/2 their weight and are still compulsive eaters.

Hey Melissa, It's me, Linda from ST. V's. This is a great question. I am having the same problem wondering what to eat. Some things still hurt like stir-fry veggies. I'm still doing my protein shake in the morning & usually 1 at night too just to get my protein in. I have been HUNGRY from the beginning and am jealous of the people that have to force themselves to eat. NOT FAIR! And you're right - CARBS are everywhere!! ;)

Hey there Melissa! I start out with a glass of juice or water first thing in the A.M and sometimes no sugar added carnation IB B- yogurt w/t Kashi Golean crunch cereal mixed in..it was yummy! L- Turkey chili w/t cheese S- Protein bar D- Cornbeef and cabbage. I am 2 days further out than you and have "only" lost 36 lbs and from what I remember you were a "lightweight" so you are doing GREAT girl! I don'****ch the carbs as well as I should but then again I still don't eat all that much at one time so I usually don't take in anymore than 20 grams a meal. Hugs, Tracy
