Hey January Jumpers! Whose running away with the exercise yet? Let us know how you are doing in the Movin On Out Department. What is your fav part about exercising? What keeps you on the couch? What do you tell yourself to get OFF THE COUCH! Your ideas may help someone else get moving! Keep up the GREAT work! Barbie

It's Barbie again! I forgot to add my 2cents worth! Silly me!!!! I've already caught the exercise bug! I'm walking and cycling at the gym. I've also started doing the machine circuit on low/basic just to get in the swing of things. I've also taken up gardening. Can't wait to lose enough weight to enjoy tennis again! I like to watch tv and play computer games - so I have to bargain with myself for exercise and tv time - doesn't ALWAYS work - but most of the time it does. After I exercise - I weigh in and LOVE when I go down even 1 pound! Hey - as Nike says :Just Do It!: Barbie 1-21 281/254/150ish

Hi Barbie, I'm planning to join Curves. I checked it out and I think it will be perfect. My daughter is going to join with me and because she's only 16, it only costs an extra $10.00 each month for her. Not bad. I'm not quite ready to start though. I'm still having pain. Am I the only one? Eventually I'll start excercising because I never have needed a reason. I love to move. There is nothing better than feeling fit. I can't wait!!!! ~michelle 279/247/150

I've been swimming everyday. I absolutely love it! I've loved swimming since I was little so I decided to go with something that I knew I'd do everyday. It makes me feel soooo much better. I think I'm still in the really motivated part because just the thought of being in tha****er makes me get off the couch! Everyone at my gym is really nice and I just love being there, it's like a treat everyday. Take care! -Monika

Well my exercise motivation is our annual Myrtle Beach trip. I do admit though that my motiviation comes and goes. This week it is the pits. I was doing really well until my husband (also my exercise partner) got strep throat and I have been lazy. I hope to pick back up tomorrow. Gotta look good in the tankini I have my eye on. Kelley

You may have the bug down in the south. But here in New England we are still freezing our butts off. I started walking during my lunch hour and was loving it. Then it started to snow for the past 3 days. Now I have to do housework to keep busy. My DH loves it but I would much rather be playing outside. Dawn -45

Too cold here too Dawn, I know how you feel. We're supposed to be below zero again tonight. GGGRRRRR!!! So walking outside is out for me. I have a tread mill in my basement but I just haven't had the urge. We live so far from any type of gym. I do walk quite a bit at work but not consistently. Just don't have much motivation I guess. Too pooped when I get home from work. Maybe when the weather gets warmer and the mud dries up, I will have some more motivation. We'll see. For the rest of you......KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!! I'm proud a ya.

Well I am here in the middle and one day it may be 60 and 30 the next. I am doing Walk Away the Pounds at work everyday. Walking outside at home when it is nice. Water Aerobics once a week (got to do it twice this week!), Reebok step a couple times a week and lifting 6 pound free weights a couple times. Trying not to lock into a schedule so I don't get bored but I have to do the water thing on Tuesdays. I hope it gets warm and the wind quits blowing soon so I can get the bike out! I really wanna go trail hiking at one of the state parks but I haven't found anyone to go with me yet.

Well I joined the gym-that's good enough...right? Actually did 20 minutes on the bike and 15 on the elipitical machine. Talked with a personal trainer. I haven't decided to spend the cash on it yet though(personal trainer that is).

I am excercising every other day in the gym in our apartment complex. I do either the treadmil or one of the bikes. I am also trying to walk at lunch everyday. The walking at lunch doesn't always happen sicne there are days I am not able to take a break (like yesterday). When I don't feel like excercising I just ask my self if this is the body I want for the rest of my life. That usually gets me moving. I am still very tired though and am totally out of energy by the end of my work day. I would be interested to know what people are doing to work on there arms.
