I was wondering if anyone makes a gurgling noise after they eat. It doesn't matter what I have, even soup and then the noise starts. It sort of sounds like a burp but I am not burping. I also wondered how many of you throw up quite frequently? I lately have been throwing up in the evenings. I can eat lunch just fine and then eat supper and have to throw up. I have had to have my stoma stretched once and I don't feel like this is the problem. I just went to the dr. and he said everything is great. I have lost 46 pounds. My surgery was 6 weeks yesterday. Thanks for all who can help. Kelley

me too!! My surgery was Jan 13 and the last week I have been throwing up in the evening. I haven't done it since Sunday when I finally decided that it was because I have been eating too fast. The gurgly noise feels like it is always there. My Dr put me back on Aciphex because on top of the noise my stomach feels hungry and like it is full of gas no matter what I eat. Congratulations on your weight loss. I am kinda discouraged as on top of all this I have only lost 25 pounds. Hopefully I will move down soon. Lisa

I too have this noise. And usually at night 1-2 hrs after supper. Sometimes I think is is gas and other times I think my stomach is just UP-SET. I can go in the bathroom bend over the bowl and a huge (I mean body rattling) belch will come up. Then I spit & spit cause I can't even swallow my saliva. Sometime I do throw up after a while cause I can't stand it anymore. Maybe this is froathing as I have seen posts. But why always at night? Dawn -42

Kelly, The Queen of gurgles is here. If I did not gurgle I would think there was something wrong with me.. I am a little over 6 weeks post-op and have the worst gas and gurgles in the world. My surgeon told me to make sure I am still taking my pepcid two times a day to keep the stomach acid down. I have to appoligize to anyone I am around because it is so loud sometimes.. Oh well, I will remain the queen of gurgles if it means I can continue to lose weight. Keep up the good work.... Rhonda
