I have a question for the ladies

Before my surgery my menstral cycle was horibble! But now that I had surgery it wasn't the length of having it, it was the cramps that about knocked my socks off for 5 days and I really never had cramps before!!Has anyone else experenced this at all???

I have not heard of that being a problem, but I have heard about them getting wat off schedule. After surgery, the first one was a week early and left me feeling weak and very dizzy/tired. Now I am over due for the next one. Go figure!! Tanya RNY 1/5/04

I ACTUALLY HAD MINE IN THE HOSPITAL THE DAY AFTER MY SURGERY. AND YES I FELT CRAMPY, HOWEVER I WAS ON HEPRIN SHOTS ALSO. I HAVEN'T HAD ONE SINCE MY SURGERY, BUT I AM DUE NEXT WEEK, SO WE WILL SEE. I THINK YOUR NEXT CYCLE WILL BE BACK TO NORMAL THOUGH. YOUR BODY HAS BEEN THROUGH A BIG TRAUMA, AND IT TAKES TIME TO HEAL AND GET BACK TO WHERE YOU WERE. JULIE

Yes! I was extremly crampy with my first cycle after surgery!! But I just finished my second cycle and everything was alright. I dont know why the first one was sooo bad, but if your anything like me , it wont last! It was so bad in fact that I took some of the pain med I had left from the surgery! char
