does anybody else burp when you eat?

I'm having to burp every time I eat or drink something. They are small burps, but its very annoying and can feel quite uncomfortable. Is anyone else doing this? Does it stop?

Hi Katherine, i only had my surgery a couple of days before you and i burp too. i never burped this much in my life. lol. i would like to know myself when it will stop. michelle

I am 4 weeks out and still burp with drinking or eating. I guess it is just a way to get rid of that extra air in your pouch. It actually feels good to burp. Many times I get pressure at the top of my stomache and burping helps to relieve it. So it is probably a good thing.

HI there I swear my body makes the weirdest burping/gurgling sounds whenever I eat or drink. I am assuming it is normal. Carolyn

Yes, lots of little burps after eating and drinking. I even got the hiccups 2 times last weekend. It is annoying. I hope it'll go away soon. Elissa

I do the burping thing too since surgery. I do think I notice it more when I eat too fast. A couple of times I've had those strange burping hiccups, but when I thought about it I KNOW I ate much too fast on those occasions. Hard to slow down a lifetime of eating too fast. Good luck to all of us.
