Patience and perseverance have prevailed!

Got my surgery date yesterday, RNY (lap) scheduled for 2/20.....yippee!!!!! Am filled with a mixture of uneasiness and joy, the first having to do with the pain/discomfort of the procedure (hopefully very little) and the other just knowing that I am taking care of myself. Choosing a body I can live with and live in, not because of looks because I'm already cute, but because the quality of my life will increase. Thanks for the encouraging posts, pictures and personal hints, this site is a Goddess-send.

Michelle, Congratulations on the date. So glad you are going to have your procedure.. I will be wishing the best for you.. I'm one of the ones that have had absolutely no pain or problems ... so far !!!
