I hate Scales!
I have had my scales for about a year. They have always done well with staying with the Dr.'s office. Since I have had surgery they have gone !!! In a days time I can go up and down 2-3 pounds!! It makes me so I could scream! And everyone you look at wants to know how much you have lost. I am going to start saying, ""!
I go back to the Doc Monday for 4 week checkup, and I quess I will know them! Wanda
I feel for you! Once my old scale broke, I never replaced it and now I'm glad ... I have decided only to weigh myself every two weeks. I'm going to the gym 3-5 times a week to work on the elliptical machine and it's been hard to refrain from jumping on the scale every time I'm there! However, I think for some emotional well being, at the two week mark I'll see more improvement and it won't be such an emotional rollercoaster! You know?
Oh, and I just had my hubby help me get my MEASUREMENTS, too. I think sometimes I'm losing inches and maybe the scale hasn't caught up
Hang in there!

Wanda, my scales are doing the same thing.. and they are brand new!!! I just think that with drinking so much water and all.. our weight fluctuates. It is hard.. but after this week.. I think I'm going to try to wean myself from the daily weigh ins... maybe every other day for a week and then so on.. I don't think I could bear weekly weigh ins.
I've also taken a cue from my friend as far as what to tell the inquisitive people who ask you how much you have lost... Just tell them that you have decided to weigh in at your physician's office. Pretty soon they will just leave you alone and tell you how great you look.. cause I'm sure you do!!
Good luck, ~ Jan
