Hi all. I am going to be released for soft foods tommorrow and was wondering what were some of the first foods you tried at this stage? Any feedback is helpful.

SF/FF pudding made with skim milk, pinto beans mashed with fat free cheese slice, potato boiled in chicken broth with skim milk added, Molly Mcbutter and a slice of fat free cheese mixed in with it...very good....that and fat free no sugar added fudge pops...45cals and 3g of Protein. This is all so far besides cheese and cracker and peanut butter (reduced fat..Peter Pan) and a cracker with a little bit of banana...to get the sticky out of your mouth. Good Luck Laurie! Hi, after 3 weeks of liquids, I started on pureed food on Tuesday. So far I've had Cream of Wheat, pureed peaches, cottage cheese, pureed homemade veg beef soup, and savory cheese soup. Also trying a Dannon Light and Fit Smoothie today. Not too bad. I'm not a big yogurt fan but this isn't too bad. Tonight I will be having cottage cheese, a bit of pureed mac and cheese and some pureed squash. I basically have what everyone else does via the blender. Tomorrow am going to make some chili. Best wishes on the soft food and let us know how it's going.
