Bowel Movements

Hi All! I don't want to sound discusting, but I'm wondering about bowel movements. I am post op. Surgery was on Jan12th. I was doing pretty good in this department. Now all of a sudden I can't go. It's been about a week now. Is this normal? Anyone else experience anything like this? Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
