Is anyone taking the Vista Vitamins that are made especially for WLS patients? It says to take 5 a day. They are chewable, but they are huge, about the size of 5 nickles put together. They aren't that great tasteing, but I need to get my vitamins in. Any advice? I am up to taking 1 or 2 a day, but yucky!!!! I would love any advice!!! I would suggest switching vitamins. For the first month my doctor suggested taking flintstones with iron. I take three of them.

My doctor suggested -take nine Tums (for calcium) or two Maalox "Quick Dissolve" and one chewable multivitamin/mineral supplement daily. Centrum Jr. or Sugar Free Flinstones chewable. Chew these up very well. You need 1800-200mg of calcium per day. Otherwise you will risk calcium deficiency or Osteoporosis.
