Hey guys...I went for the first follow up after surgery and I am down 45 #'s, in two weeks. That is great and I am so happy. When did you all start eating again. Doc said to try meats, soft of course as tolorated. I am so scared to be rushing things. I tried some chicken and so far so good. ANy feed back would be appreciated

Congrats. I was cleared to start the soft diet 10 days after my surgery. Tuna salad never tasted so good.

OMG down 45 - that is just awesome. You gotta love that meltin feeling. I started my soft foods 2 weeks after and everything has been good. Just make sure food is moist, chew chew chew, and eat very slow. Congratulations Dawn -23

You guys make me depressed. I am one week out and only lost 5 lbs. I have eaten liquid 2-4 oz 6 times a day so I can't be doing anything wrong. Guess it shouldn't be a surprise I ALWAYS lose slower than anybody else. Enjoy your loss.

don't worry Pat, my first week out I lost nothing. My 2nd week I lost 15 pounds and then the 2 weeks since then nothing again. I do get depressed when the rest of my group talks about their weight loss, but some of us just have a slower matabolism then others do. In the end the weight will come off though - it has to when we can't eat anything!
