Just 6 days to go.

I will be having my surgery 1/26/04. Have one more appt to see hematologist and then a go. Question for those of you already had surgery,what did you take with you for the hospital. I am having RNY so will be there 5 days HOPEFULLY!!! I did see one person say take chap stick, so I got that toothpaste lotion shampoo and some mags and books. Like I am thinking this will be a chance to get in some reading. Did you sleep most of the time between walking or anything like that or was it just all you could do to not focus on the pain. Thanks.

Leslea, Hey good luck to you!! Ok you got the chap stick that I forgot! I took 4 books with me,as I had an open RNY on Jan 7th, I never even looked at them. I just didn't feel up to it. As for sleep HA! I could not sleep much at all. I watched tv most of the time. I even watched the " Food channel" Good luck to you keep us posted! God Bless Kristin
