Be sure and put something under your knees before surgery!!

OMG, The back pain is horrendous!!! I have never felt as much pain as I did with the back pain with my surgery 01-09-04. I guess it is from laying on the flat operating table for so long, but I am telling you, it is bad. I havent had any problems at all with my surgery, came home in one day, very satisfied, not ready to eat or drink anything yet, only pain I have is with the back!!

Jennifer, I was just telling someone about that. I am a nursing student and also have several people in our family in the medical field. I too had back pain and its from the gas that they pump into you during surgery. Doesn't have much to do with laying on the table. I had to ask my doctor and he said walk walk walk honey! I was dying with back pain b/c of the gas. But its gone now thank god!! 9 days post op Wendy 247/229
