Date moved up-Jan 29th

Date has been moved up to the 29th. I am so excited but also nervous. I have waited almost 3 years. I was approved 2 years ago (after 6 months of appeals) and my company changed insurance and disallowed WLS before I had it. The wait is almost over!!! Pat

Congratulations on finally getting the approval!! I know you are excited and nervous about this, I am too! My date is Jan. 28th! I am very proud of you for sticking it out and fighting with the insurance company. I know that it was a long road for you! But in the end the effort will be well worth it! My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your surgeon! I hope you have a wonderful surgery and a speedy recovery! And lots of losing!

Thank God a Date at last!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have the same date- Good Luck to you on your special day!! I'm having an open RNY with gallbladder removal and possible appendix removal. My company changed insurance carriers as I was waiting for approval-but good for me-Medica does not require pre-approval. Please post when you feel better
