Surgery date 012704!

Hello, my name is Lark and my surgery date is coming up soon! I would like to know how to find out more information about my surgeon(how many he has performed, complication rate and mortality rate). I am not afraid of the surgery, only thinking I might have a heart attack on the table. My Mother had a heart attack on the table and died when she was only 38(I was 12 years old). She was having a foot amputated and was a severe diabetic. I was hoping to talk to someone that was having the surgery around the same time as me and we could corespond and support one another! Dear Lark, I am having a RNY on the same date here in N.J. I am very confident in the procedure, I have spoken to a lot of people who have had this and they swear by it.
