Does anyone have any clue if starting your period right before surgery is grounds for cancellation? Any advice from post ops out there? Just one darn thing I didn't want to deal with, but is a big reason I am having RNY (irregular cycles!) Thanks for allowing me to be candid here!

They don't cancel surgery. Just be sure and don't wear a tampon - you have to wear a pad. It is really common for this to happen. Best of luck with your surgery. I wish you a speedy recovery! - Marla
I was wondering the samething. I'm due for mine on the 26th the same day as surgery. However, I heard from many ladies that this surgery will cause you to get your period. I wouldn't worry. But, I'm going to ask my dr next week.
