Welcome Terri! I am having the Lap-band too on Jan 8th. These boards are great for support. There is even a Lap-band message board here too. Everyone has been so good to me here. Any questions you may have ask away cause someone just may have your answer. Good Luck with your surgery!!! Lisa B.

Hi Lisa, Congrats on you surgery! You will do fine, I think if we weren't nervous we wouldn't be human. Can't wait to hear how you do. Where & who are you having you surgery with? Can you tell me how to find the lap-band message board (haven't found it yet, I see alot of gastric bypass stuff). I am keeping you in my prayers for a speedy recovery! Terri
