Jan 7th and I am getting nervous............

I am getting a little nervous about January 7th although I know that this is the greatest thing that I could be doing for myself.......anyone else out there have the jitters before their procedure? Take care, Tammy

Yes, me too, I am having jitters big time. My surgery is Jan 6th. For me it is not that I am afraid of the surgery. I just can't believe this is really going to happen. I keep waiting for something to go wrong before I get to surgery. Laurie

Laurie - I know exactly how you feel - my original surgery date was December 3, 2002 but I got a bad reaction to the Reglan that I was given in the holding room and backed out of the surgery - it made me nuts!!!! This time it's a go for sure! Take care, Tammy

Laurie, I hear you loud and clear... I have the same date as you... it truly hasn't struck me yet either... I am praying that I remain healthy for just two more days.. no postponements for me! Please God! Terri

Hi Tammy, My surgery date is jan. 29th. I wake-up and go to bed thinking about it. I get excited and then i get nervous. I know in my heart that everything will be fine. Ill just be glad when it's over. Like you said, i know im doing the best thing for me. Take Care and Good LUCK...HUGGS..Sandi

Hi Tammy I wanted to wish you well with your surgery, mine isnt until the 21st and I am already being overcome with emotions here...One min I am happy the next I am scared and then I turn around and I am crying...LOL What a roller coaster...We will all be so much better off afterwards and it will make it all worth wild...

Tammy, What u are feeling is normal. I was really super nervous before surgery. I had alot of questions going thru my head. Just take deep breaths and know that you will be ok. Try to do something relaxing the next couple of days. Good luck to you!!! Marian

Hi Tammy. I'm the same day as you and I am definitely a bit nervous. My surgeon's office has called me every day for the past few days just to go over things and every time they call I think that they are going to change my surgery date or cancel. In addition, Seattle is in for an unusually big snow storm tonight. My doctor has a 4-wheel drive vehicle but I am still nervous that something will happen to interfere with the surgery.
