Anyone ever have colon problems PRE-op?

I have had Diverticular for several years and I am scared this might complicate things with surgery? I would appreciate any info! Or if you know where I can find it on the web, My surgery is the 12th of Jan and is coming on fast and I feel like I am going to go ! I am having a hard time sleeping , and I am having old panic attacks !!! Wanda
