January 6th

I'm having my surgery in 3 days, and I'm so excited and nervous all at once. Right now I'm racking my brain because I'm having my surgery in Anniston, AL which is a 2 hour drive from my house and I will be in the hospital for 3 days, and then I have to stay in a hotel for 3 additional days until I get my drainage tubes out. I'm really scared I'm going to forget something. Does anyone out there know where I can get ahold of a cheat list to go by, you know something that gives you an idea of all the things you should bring with you?

Hi Irene, Im having my Surgery in Anniston, Alabama too. My surgery is on Jan. 29th and Dr. Black is my surgeon. I just wanted to say hi, and wish you good luck with everything. Im clueless at this point about what to take to the hospital too. Im sure ill be taking some loose sweats to wear home, something to wear while in the hospital and a few things like toothbrush, hairbrush ect... Take care Huggs Sandi.....

Thanks for the advise, and my dr. is Dr. Bryan Freeman. Only two more days, I just keep thinking I'm going to wake up, and its all going to be just a dream. I just can't believe this is happening. The only word that comes to mind is "WOO HOO!!!!" Good luck to you, Irene

Hi Irene, My surgery date is Jan 6th too. I'm going out of state and will be gone for a month! I can really relate about trying to remember everything to take. Good luck with your surgery. Laurie
