Congratulations. I am just as excited as my surgery is on Jan 22nd What a great way for us to start off the New Year. I too think the time can't go by fast enough yet I've got lots to do to get ready. Have you finished all your preop testing. I have a few more to go. Good Luck. Brenda

Congratulations to you too! I still have my pre testing to go but the Drs office said they were sending out everything I needed to be ready for this so I should have it within the day or two...I am so looking forward to this, and as I sit and read others stories it is so emotional to realize that we all feel the same way....What a roller coaster ride we are on!! This is the FIRST roller coaster I have really liked...LOL...Good Luck...Cindy

I am 1/20 and I knew December 8th. So I ask so many questions and tell so many people. Like the commercial "I lowerd my cholesterol". I found by telling all my co-workers everyone seems to know someone who had it done. I went to a postop support group and it was sooo helpful. People were 3 weeks to 2 years post. Any they were all so happy and healthy. Only one person complained about vomiting and it's because she can't eat slowly. I have started to practice chewing but seem to forget. We are so lucky to have this great medical opportunity and I don't have to explain myself to anyone! Best of luck to a speedy recovery. Can't wait to see you on the losing side.
