Surgery Scheduled for 1/29!!!!

I am so excited, so nervous, so looking forward to a new me!! I am looking for some support to discuss all the little things I haven't thought of yet...you know what to pack, how will I ever get to sleep on the 28th, etc. I just found this website and I hope I can find my way back to this board to read replies and other posts! Will anyone be at the meeting on Friday at 3:00?

Good morning Marcy! Thanks for your words of encouragement. I hope your surgery goes well and this new year marks a new beginning for you! How have you prepared for the big event? Perhaps we can compare notes, as I go to my Pre-op class this afternoon. I will be having my surgery at St. Agnes Hospital. Ann

Hi Ann, im having surgery on January 29th too! I live in Alabama so im not close to where you are but you will be in my prayers too. I can relate to the being excited and nervous. I am thinking about this 24 hours a-day. I cant go shopping for clothes, because i know i will be loosing weight, but Girl ive been buying cute shoes and jewlery! LOL Take care...Sandi

Sandi, We'll be BIRTHDAY buddies, as I see this date as the start of my new life!! Let's keep each other updated through email. I am going to my pre-op class today so I should hear a lot more about prep and I will probably be even more excited and nervous!! HEHEHE 2004- the year of change and renewal. Ann

Hi Ann how did pre-op class go today? Did you learn anything you can pass on. I can hardly wait to go and find out about everything thats going to happen. Like what exactly is the diet going to be like when i leave the hospital for the first few weeks....Sandi
