it happens on 1/21/04

its taken more than a year but the date gets closer and closer i cant wait for it to happen

Congratulations Paul, I know how you feel. I am looking at a date of 1/22/04. Yesterday I finally was able to set up all my pre-op testing so I feel better now with that accomplished. I just pray not that all the testing will come out fine. How are your testing coming along. I hope with the holidays it will help us take our minds of the waiting, you know how the holidays just seem to sneek up on ya, and next thing you know there over. Well by the time all that happens we will be ready to start the new year of right. It will be the beginning of the end of our excess weight.

Hi Paul, My surgery is scheduled for Jan. 21, 2004. I've had my surgery date since April 29, 2003. I have to go for my pre-op testing Dec. 23rd. I am so ready. I've working on getting my surgery since Aug. 2002. Good Luck and keep in tough. Kathy

That's my surgery date too. But I'm having mine in Mexico (Ensenada) because my insurance wouldn't cover the procedure. I suspect they think I should just do leg lifts and eat low-fat foods and life will be good. So I'm paying myself, but at a great reduction in price, and really looking forward to starting my new life. Good luck to you, Paul...and all the other January losers! -Lesa in Portland, Oregon
